For our Christmas outreach this year we are encouraging everyone to participate in "Operation Christmas Child", a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Since we have helped our community with nearly $13,000 through our benevolence ministry we want to be able to turn our focus more broadly through this international opportunity. This means we will not be doing the regular HABC Christmas Shoppe. Instead, we want you to join us pack shoe boxes for children across the world. You can drop the shoe boxes off at the church office by Wednesday, November 5th. There will be a special dedication service during AWANA that everyone is welcome to attend on November 12th. Packing instructions and suggestions are available at the Welcome Desk. If you have any questions contact the church office.
We have tons of resources in our bookstore for parents of children, preteen, and teenagers. There are various family worship devotional books specifically for children. Please take some time and stop by the bookstore located in the cafe after the service today. You may make a purchase in the Cafe or at the Welcome Desk.
