HASM Student Ministry
Connecting Students to Christ, His Community, His Calling...
Harvard Avenue Student Ministry (HASM) strives to share Christ with a generation that is desperately seeking something worth living for. We believe that something is the found in the person of Jesus Christ. "And he (Jesus) died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again." (2 Corinthians 5:15)
Both Middle School and High School students meet each week for Bible Study, Praise & Worship, small groups, and various mission projects in the community and schools. Through the investment of adult leaders, the community of teenagers, and the teaching of scripture, students will experience Christ. Students meet on Sunday mornings at the main campus and Wednesday nights at the Lighthouse (youth facility @ 815 S. Hico) as well as area homes on Sunday nights for small groups. HASM is a friendly and safe place for students to come as they are. It is also a place where spiritual maturity and leadership are encouraged (1 Timothy 4:12). In a world flooded with media, entertainment, and busyness, we desire for students to stop and take time to get to KNOW God. And make Him KNOWN to others...

Students will stay in host homes over the weekend and engage in small group Bible studies, worship gatherings, teaching sessions, and service projects. The guest speaker for the event is Noah Mitchell. Cost is $27 (includes t-shirt if signed up by October 1).
