The greatest need children have is to know and cherish the infinate value of God. Therefore, we want children to become so acquainted with the Word of God that they treasure Him alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of our curriculum for Community Life is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.

Dear Parents of 3 and 4 Year Olds,
I enjoy playing with and teaching your children about Jesus on Sunday mornings. Harvard Avenue Baptist Church is committed to connecting people to Christ, and this passion is not to the exclusion of children. In fact, the Children’s Ministry is dedicated to partnering with parents in teaching children about Jesus. However, we are only that: partners. You have a wonderful roll in your child’s life, to raise your child for God’s glory, Deuteronomy 6:4-9 style. This bulletin [check out the CL Parent Bulletin Downloads below] is designed not only to inform you of what your child is being taught at Harvard, but also to encourage you in your endeavors to bring up your child in the ways of the Lord everyday of the week.
