Worship Guide
About the Service
Our worship theme is “Proclaiming the Risen Savior to the Nations.” The modern hymn we sing today, Resurrection Hymn, exhorts us, “See God's salvation plan, wrought in love,
borne in pain, paid in sacrifice; Fulfilled in Christ the Man, for He lives! Christ is risen from the dead!” Phil Fields will share how the risen Christ is being proclaimed among the nations through Bible translation. We are further reminded to direct our praise to our risen and exalted Savior in the song Every Tongue: “Forever is not long enough to sing of all You’ve done. Be praised by every tribe and every tongue.” Let us praise and adore Christ for all He is doing to scatter and plant His church.

Postlude
Pastor Chad shares the following report from Harvard Avenue Student Ministry: “On Friday, September 3, our student ministry had 90 students in attendance for the annual Up All Nite event. We had the great opportunity of sharing the gospel with 18 unchurched teenagers that were invited to the event. Two of these unchurched students requested prayer and follow up ministry. Our high school student leadership team and other adults will be making visits and phone calls to follow up with the visitors and try to connect with the parents of the household as well. Please be in prayer this week as they reach out to these students and their families.” Thank you for your continued prayers for Pastor Chad and our student ministry.
