How does HABC connect all people to Christ?Expository Preaching When you come to Harvard Avenue you can expect to encounter to Word of God. We believe that the clear teaching and explanation of the Scripture is vital to your spiritual growth. Our desire is for the Biblical Text to provide the substance, structure, and spirit of each sermon. Each of our pastors is committed to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and works diligently to faithfully preach, teach, and apply the Bible to everyday life.
Exalting Worship We desire to exalt Christ through the ministry of the Word. Corporate worship is a dialogue between God and His gathered people. God initiates worship by speaking to us through His Word, and calling us to respond. We respond to Him in faith as we sing His praises, pray, give thanks, and commit our lives to Him.
Energetic Witness We not only desire to connect to Christ corporately in our worship services, our goal is to go beyond the walls of our church, bringing the gospel to our neighbors, co-workers, and classmates. Being an energetic witness for Christ is one way we worship the Lord with our lives on a daily basis.
